Accessing ParentsWeb / FamilyPortal

RenWeb’s FamilyPortal (ParentsWeb) is a private and secure parents’ portal that will allow parents to view academic information specific to their children, while protecting their children’s information from others. You can see your child’s grades, attendance, and account balance as well as other useful school information. FamilyPortal (ParentsWeb) is also where you can view the school's family directory. 

To access FamilyPortal (ParentsWeb), simply click here.

First time users (be sure the school has the email address you will be using in RenWeb)

  1. Click Create New FamilyPortal Account.

  2. Type Nampa Christian's District Code (NP-ID).

  3. Type the Email. This must be the email address that is in FamilyPortalfor the individual. 

  4. Click Create Account.

  5. An email is sent with a hyperlink to create the account (check you Spam folder if you did not receive the email). Click the Click to change password link (the link will only be valid for 30 seconds).

  6. This will open a new web page showing your name and personal ID number. Choose and type in a User Name, Password, and then Confirm Password. 

  7. Click Save Password. A message should pop up saying User Name/Password successfully updated. Then you are good to start logging in to ParentsWeb

Updating RenWeb Information

Did you know that by logging into your RenWeb FamilyPortal account you can verify, edit  & update your family and child’s information?

This ensures we have the most up-to-date information including Emergency Contacts, Pick-Up lists, Student Medical Information, parent email and phone numbers, etc…

Please be sure to log into your ParentsWeb account to verify your information. This information is sent directly to our student information system for tracking purposes and helps save us time and run more efficiently.

How to update your information in FamilyPortal

Our district code for RenWeb is NP-ID

To access FamilyPortal, simply click here.

  1. Once logged on to FamilyPortal, click on School Information on the left
  2. (it may already be open).  
  3. Click on Web Forms.  
  4. Click on Family Demographic Form in the right pane. 
    • You should see a “Student Demographic Form” link for each student in your family.
  5. Select the link, update any information and click on the “Save” button at the bottom.  
  6. Click the “Return to Main Form” button at the top to return to the list of all forms.  
  7. Student medical information, custodial parent information, emergency contact information, and grandparent information can all be updated in the same way.  
  8. Finally, be sure to make any preference changes (block information from the Family Directory, Setup automatic Progress Reports, etc.) by opening the ‘Custodial Parent Form’ in WebForms

All changes made in FamilyPortal will be automatically updated.

  • Smartphone integration with the School Directory, allowing you to Tap & Send emails or place phone calls instantly to School Directory listings for parents and faculty.

  • Ability to import homework assignments, school calendar events and directory listing to Smartphone calendars and contacts.

The RenWeb Home App is offered for an annual fee of $4.99 per family per year. The annual subscription covers all Android and iOS devices for every parent and student in a family as the family is recorded in RenWeb. That means if a family has already purchased a subscription to RenWeb Home for their iPhones, they can access RenWeb Home for free via their Android devices, and vice versa. Families will be offered the opportunity to renew their subscription prior to its expiration at the end of 12 months.

To download the RenWeb Home Android App:

  1. Click the Play Store icon on the Android phone screen and tap Search.

  2. Type "RenWeb Home" into the search bar. The RenWeb Home App will appear in the search results.

  3. Tap it, and then tap "Install" in the right-hand corner.

To download the RenWeb Home iPhone App:

  1. Click the App Store icon on the iPhone screen and tap Search.

  2. Type "RenWeb Home" into the search bar.

  3. When he RenWeb Home App, tap the iCloud icon in the right-hand corner.

 

**You can access ParentsWeb from your mobile device without the app as well. Clicking on the Log in to ParentsWeb link on the website from your phone will open it in your mobile web browser.**

Frequently Asked Questions for FamilyPortal

What if I forgot my username or password?

1. Select Log in to FamilyPortal from the Parent Life page.

2. Select Forgot Username/Password?

3. Enter your email address on file.

4. A link will be sent to you to change your password. Check your spam folder if you do not receive the email. (Passwords must be at least 6 characters and include at least 1 number). The link will expire in 15 minutes.

I get a message that says Invalid Credentials when I try to login to FamilyPortal.

This means the password you are entering doesn’t match the username. Make sure your username is correct and reenter your password. If you continue to have trouble, your password may need to be reset (see Forget Username/Password above.)

How do I change my username and/or password?

If you are able to login to FamilyPortal, you may change your username or password.

1. Login to FamilyPortal.

2. Click Family Information.

3. Click Change Password.

4. Enter and confirm your new information.

5. Click Submit.

How do I update my name, address, and phone number in FamilyPortal? How can I update Emergency Contacts for my students? How do I alert you to Allergies?

What if I no longer have a landline/home phone number? My wife’s cell phone is appearing as my Home phone number.

Many of our directories and reports require a Home phone number for your student. All family members are “linked” and share a home phone number. If you no longer have a landline, we will enter the mother’s cell phone number in its place.

Who else can see my home address, email address and phone number on FamilyPortal? Can I turn these off?

Any other parent or student at your school who has access to FamilyPortal can see these items. You can control what others see by going to the Family Demographic Information Form (in the School Information – Web Forms section). Once in Web Forms click Custodial Parent Form and scroll down to select what you wish others to see under Parent Preferences.

Who else can see my family demographic information?

Only persons in your own family and staff members have access to your demographic information.

My family’s information is not appearing correctly, who do I ask to correct this? How do I remove or add a parent to my family?

In the cases of custody issues or blended families, it may be necessary to contact the school to set your family’s information correctly. How do I check my child’s homework assignments?

1. Login to FamilyPortal.

2. Select School Information.

3. Select Calendar.

4. Select the My Homework tab. This will display all of the homework for your child regardless of where the teacher entered it. It will also display all of your children’s homework if you have more than one child.

5. OR Select Student Information.

6. Select Student Home.

7. Select Individual Student and Homework by Date or Homework by Subject.

How do I check my child’s grades?

1. Login to FamilyPortal.

2. Select School Information.

3. Select Grades.

4. Select the class that you wish to view from the dropdown menu.
