Idaho State Board of Education Scholarships

Recognizing the value of a postsecondary education, the State of Idaho offers a variety of scholarship options for eligible Idaho students. For more information about each option and deadline, visit their website. 

American Legion High School Oratorical Contest Scholarship

The American Legion High School Oratorical Contest annually grants hundreds of thousands of dollars to students. The national first place winner receives $18,000. Scholarship money is available at every level of the competition. Each contestant delivers a prepared oration of between eight to ten minutes on some aspect of the U.S. Constitution and the responsibilities of a citizen. They then speak on an assigned topic drawn at random on some aspect of the Constitution. More information about the contest is available at: www.legion.org/programs/oratorical. The Nampa Post of the American Legion will host the American Legion High School Oratorical Contest on Martin Luther King Day, Monday, January 15, 2018 at 10 am, in the Legion Hall located at 1504 2nd Street South in Nampa. 2017 BeSkinHost.com Scholarship

Each year BeSkinHost.com offers a $1500 scholarship for an outstanding student who is interested in natural skincare topics, such as anti-aging or acne treatments. For more information, go here. Deadline is November 25, 2017. 

Elks Most Valuable Student Award

The local Elks Lodge is looking forward to awarding this scholarship to a local high school student! The 2018 Most Valuable Student scholarship contest is open to any high school senior who is a US Citizen. Applicants will be judged on scholarship, leadership, and financial need. The 2018 MVS application deadline is November 27, 2017. For more information visit the scholarship website.

Women in Science Environmental Scholarship

The Dronethusiast Women in Science Scholarship is a $500 award. Write an essay about an idea you have for helping improve the environment, either global or locally, using Drone Technology.  Please visit the website for more information. Deadline is December 1, 2017.

Lead Roster B2B Sales & Marketing Scholarship

The Lead Roster B2B Sales & Marketing Scholarship is a highly competitive award for high school and college students interested in sales & marketing. Unlike most scholarships which require a simple essay and "good luck" to win, the Lead Roster scholarship puts the tools for winning in your hands by judging your entry on your ability to market and sell your own ideas! This is a $1,000 scholarship and is awarded on December 20th of each year. The deadline to apply for this scholarship is December 15, 2017.

The Publicity.ai SEO & Content Marketing Scholarship

The Publicity.ai SEO & Content Marketing Scholarship is a highly competitive award for high school and college students interested in SEO and content marketing. Students applying must submit a brief essay explaining the best use of content marketing --the act of producing content to compel your audience to appreciate and share it-- that they have seen. This is a $1,000 scholarship and is awarded on December 20th of each year. The deadline to apply for this scholarship is December 15, 2017.

Headphones Encyclopedia Scholarship

HeadphonesEncyclopedia.com is offering a $1500 scholarship for students passionate about writing. In order to participate in this program, students are required to research and write an essay about the “The History of Headphones.” For application details, visit the website. The deadline is December 15, 2017.

SeniorAdvisor.com: Future of Assisted Living Scholarship

Three $2,000 scholarships are available to students enrolled in an associate's degree, bachelor's degree or graduate level program at an accredited 2-year college or 4-year university. Each eligible student must submit a 500-750 word essay response to the question: How can your major of study improve the lives of seniors in assisted living facilities in your town? Discover Awards

Sign up here for e-mails to get helpful college tips and resources, and enter to win a scholarship! Throughout the year, 40 eligible students and parents will be randomly selected to win a $2,500 Discover Student Loans Scholarship Award to help cover college expenses. Ends on December 31, 2017

Annual Graduation Scholarship

Whether through essays or multimedia, you've used your voices to share visions for a better world. So here's your chance to put them to action! Submit a proposal for how you'll better your community. Because this will be a much more rigorous process with multiple rounds, we're also raising the bar for tuition awards: from five $1,000 tuition awards to five $10,000 tuition awards! We will also fund the top project up to $5,000. There are three separate deadlines for this scholarship. The first is February 11, 2018, 11:59 MST. Salon Ambient Scholarship

SalonAmbient.com is excited to announce a $1500 scholarship to the students of Nampa Christian High School. All of the application details are available on the website. Final entries are due by March 15, 2018.

Student Award Search Scholarship

This $1000 scholarship is available to all high school juniors and seniors as well as all students currently registered in any post-secondary institution. To apply for this scholarship you will need to write an essay of less than 1000 words describing the three characteristics of leadership you value most.  Discuss why you believe that these traits are so important and how you feel that they are developed in an individual. AudioReputation Annual Scholarship

For a chance to win a $1000 scholarship, write a 2000+ word essay on the following topic “What is the best music for learning?” The essay must be unique, otherwise, you are at risk of being disqualified.
