Senior McKenzie Buuck was crowned queen at the Nampa Christian Homecoming on Friday, Sept. 21, at halftime of the Trojans football game.

Buuck was escorted by Trevor Lee and was one of three seniors named to the court, which included princesses Mikayla Finley and Carli Shaul. Other class princesses included junior Kea Peters, sophomore Kami Peppley and freshman Jacqueline Henrickson. 

Escorts included seniors Kurtis Crooks (Finley) and Connor Shaul (Shaul), junior Jonah Carleton, sophomore Lee VanderStelt and freshman John Clapier. 

The Master of Ceremonies was Sam Antosh and the honor guard included seniors Andrew Fillmore and Riley Fairgrieve, juniors Nate Rex and Colby Guisasola, sophomores Luke Gerosin and Keith Higer and freshmen Hunter Bullock and Connor Hensely. 

Buuck was crowned by 2011-12 homecoming queen Life Ilunga. 

In the football contest, Nampa Christian defeated Melba 41-22 in its 2A WIC division opener.
